| Duties | Ronald McDonald House Hamilton provides a "home away from home" for families of children who are seriously ill and being treated at nearby hospitals. Housekeeping volunteers help to maintain a clean, comfortable and welcoming home for our families by assist our housekeeping staff in light house cleaning duties. Duties include cleaning the main living areas of the House by dusting, sweeping, and vacuuming, as well as assisting with House laundry (bedding & towels). Volunteers assist staff with guest room preparation, restocking supplies and organizing cupboards. (Volunteers are not expected to clean bathrooms) This is a fun, flexible role offering a great deal of interaction with staff, fellow volunteers and families. | |||
