DutiesUnder the supervision of the Volunteer Crew Chief:  
-arrive early before concerts to help with set up of donors reception area (assist decorator, lay out coffee cups/saucers, utensils, napkins, etc) 
-help with stuffing inserts in to concert programs 
-monitor the coffee/tea and appetizers (before concert, during intermission, post concert) 
-maintain a neat reception room (bringing in dishes to the kitchen, helping to wash/dry when necessary) 
-welcome guests to the reception room 
-distribute brochures and welcome guests for the pre-concert talk 
-help guests at the front door with directions to the reception room or pre-concert talk 
-assist in the front of house lobby table as necessary (info table) 
-assist with take down and cleanup and the end of the concert 
-opportunity for breaks/downtime during the concerts with opportunity to watch parts of concert

Commitment LengthMedium Term (from 3 - 12 months) ; There are 10 concerts from September through May, but a commitment to each concert is not necessary. To attend the Volunteer Appreciation Event a volunteer must attend a minimum of 3 concerts.
TrainingOrientation ; Training is provided ; Training provided by Volunteer Crew Chief and staff.
TransportationOn Bus Route ; Use of a car is not necessary, but must be able to get to Hamilton Place.
