| Duties | Hiking Leaders must be comfortable taking a leadership role: * Hiking at the Tim Horton's Earth Day Eco-Festival: You will be responsible in guiding a junior elementary class, its teachers, chaperones, and Earth Day personnel along a nature trail for a 75 minute hike. You will point out items of interest along the way. You'll be required to lead 2 hikes per day. The event takes place on the trails of Royal Botanical Gardens. You should have at least some background of having hiked before. * Hiking at the Instant Forest: Take groups of students for short hikes around the Eramosa Karst Conservation Area For all hikes you will be given an orientation and areas of interest to point out. | |||
