| Description | The Rosedale Minor Hockey Association (RMHA) provides a house league minor hockey system for children aged 4 - 20 years within the City of Hamilton * Registration for all divisions are accepted on every Saturday throughout the month of September * Additional details about registration with the RMHA are available on the website. In addition, the Rosedale Devils represent the RMHA at the Select level. All players on the select team are drawn from the house league teams within the RMHA. Tryouts for Select commence after the the house league schedule commences. It is important to note that for Select hockey, the costs for playing within this program are not part of your RMHA registration fees, and that parents will receive team budgets and financial requirements once the child has been signed to the team. Body checking is a part of Select hockey above the Atom division only. Costs to participate on a Select team vary depending on the teams planned activities. Teams do have to purchase their own jerseys, ice and so on. A budget for every select team must be prepared and reviewed with parents and the RMHA Treasurer. The Rosedale Minor Hockey Association also presents an Annual March Break Classic House League Hockey tournament during reading week in March. In addition, the RMHA has also commenced with a Select Tournament as well, running during the latter part of reading week.
