DescriptionCharitable vision care programs in Canada:

Each year each Lenscrafters store will receive 15 certificates to use in delivering free eyeglasses to local needy people at any time during the year. The certificates, redeemable for new eyewear, can be donated to registered charities, Lions Clubs, or the Board of Education on behalf of a recipient. A representative of a Lions club, Board of Education, or charitable organization, in or near communities where Lenscrafters has stores, should contact a local store manager as soon as a needy person has been identified. The store manager will be able to tell the representative how to secure a certificate that can be passed along to the recipient.

Hometown Day - On a single day in the first week of December each year, all Lenscrafters stores across North America donate new eyeglasses to needy people through Hometown Day. Recipients are identified by local social service organizations.

International vision care programs: These programs run in partnership with Lions Clubs and involve the collection and distribution of old, unwanted eyeglasses for distribution to developing countries.</UL>
