DescriptionThe TRI-Rock Program is funded by Service Canada and is a 16 week paid employment training program that is done in 2 phases. Each phase is 8 weeks long. Phase I occurs at the Living Rock and is a combination of practical work experience and employment skills development. 
 
For Phase II, youth are placed 8 weeks with an employer where they gain valuable job experience. Through each Phase, participants are paid minimum wage for 35 hours a week. At the end of Phase II, the employer has the option of hiring on the participant.  
 
Participants are between 16-30 years of age (16 and 17 year olds must have permission from their respective school boards to be able to participate in the program)

People who are in receipt of EI or have previously collected EI are not eligible. 
 
Youth must complete the application process to be eligible.
ApplicationYouth who have completed necessary paperwork with an MTCU organization and completed a TRI-Rock interview at the Living Rock.
