DescriptionThe sports camp program promotes "Fair Play" by supporting the principles of fairness, integrity and respect * Emphasizes participation, skill development, co-operation and fun * All staff members and volunteers are fully certified in First Aid and CPR * 10:1 camper to instructor ratio * Facilities include an air conditioned hardwood floor double gymnasium, outdoor soccer field, sand beach volleyball court, two acrylic surfaced tennis courts and basketball court * Sports include all indoor court sports - basketball, volleyball, indoor and outdoor soccer, badminton, baseball, road hockey etc.  
 
Programs offered include: 
 
  • Lil' Rays (Ages 5-6 years) - An opportunity for participation in a variety of sports and games at an introductory, experiential level. 
  • Action Packed (Ages 7-10 years) - Introduces basic skill development through encouraging participation in all sports and games. 
  • MVP (Ages 11-13 years) - Emphasizes skill development in sports like basketball, soccer, volleyball (court and beach) badminton, tennis, baseball and hockey (road/floor). 
  • Coach Program (Ages 14-15 years) - This camp requires a special application process and requires a minimum of 2 years of Summer Rays Camp experience. This is a Leadership Training one week camp experience. Only 2 positions/week - one week/summer allowed. 
     
    Note: Integration of special needs children may be accommodated and will be reviewed on an individual basis.
