Description & Services
DescriptionIn addition to our regular service, the HSR offers a shared-ride taxi service where you pay a small premium to enjoy extended service to portions of Glanbrook and Stoney Creek.

Trans-Cab is not intended to replace existing HSR bus routes. You must travel as far as possible on HSR before transferring to Trans-Cab.

Stoney Creek Trans-Cab is a shared-ride taxi service offered by the HSR and Hamilton Cab. Trans-Cab is available Monday through Saturday in selected outlying areas of lower Stoney Creek.

The service is offered as an extension of HSR bus routes 2-Barton, 10-Beeline, 55 & 55A-Stoney Creek Central.

When travelling from the Trans-Cab service area first dial the contractor (Hamilton Cab) at 905-777-7777, and request a TransCab pick-up. Provide one hour's notice before you want to travel. Hamilton Cab will dispatch a taxi, and drive you, as well as other customers, to the closest Trans-Cab transfer point. (Stoney Creek Municipal Service Centre, Levi Loop or Bell Manor Loop)
