DescriptionDevelopmental Services Ontario Hamilton-Niagara Region (DSO HNR): * The DSO HNR is one of nine DSOs across the province; the DSO HNR is responsible for the Hamilton-Niagara Region which includes the communities of Brant, Hamilton, Haldimand and Norfolk, Niagara and the First Nations communities of Six Nations of the Grand River and Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation. * The DSO has local office sites in each of the communities it serves. * The DSO HNR is responsible for: a) Providing information about available services and supports b) Confirming eligibility for those applying for Ministry funded adult developmental services and supports for the first time c) Completing the new Application Package to assess each individual's service and support needs and d) linking eligible and prioritized people to available services and supports.
