| Description | The Hamilton Public Library provides materials and services to help all age groups obtain information meeting their personal, educational, cultural and professional needs. Special emphasis is placed on providing a comprehensive reference service, system-wide collection support and specialized services for the general population or for specifically targeted groups. Popular materials are provided in a variety of media formats. The branch libraries are the access point in each community to the resources of the Hamilton Public Library system. The Library offers a wide range of programs and services including public access computers and computer workshops for adults. * Branch Locations The Hamilton Public Library provides materials and services to help all age groups obtain information meeting their personal, educational, cultural and professional needs. The Hamilton Public Library offers storytime programs for children from birth to 5 years of age that combine stories, songs, fingerplays and action rhymes all designed to promote reading readiness. Storytime provides an environment for discovering the pleasures of reading and learning and help many children with the development of their socialization skills as it is often their first group experience outside of the home. It is also a great opportunity for parents to meet other parents! Some programs are drop-in and others require registration. * Storytime Information and Schedules 2013 Storytime is offered in the spring, fall and winter only.
