DescriptionSpecial Needs Services provides one to one, non professional, in home respite supports to children with a physical disability or children with a developmental disability, when external dollars are approved or found for such service * The majority of funds flow through the Ministry of Community And Social Services and Children and Youth Services(Special Services at Home Program {SSAH). * Service guidelines are provided by the Ministry. 
 
Staff advocate for families to apply for services within the program and elsewhere, and assist families with Special Needs Services once approved by the Ministry. Services provided are support for respite or supportive developmental programming. 
 
Staff also support families who administer the funds directly managing the funds, giving advise re policy and helping with issues and applications.

EligibilityChildren with a physical disability and or developmental disability up to the age of 18.
