| Description | The Adult Wheelchair and Seating Clinic provides wheelchair and seating assessment and prescription services to adult clients with complex seating and positioning needs whose needs cannot be met by the community or HHS inpatient programs. The Seating Clinic is not diagnostic specific and will see people with a variety of diagnoses, including but not limited to: Spinal Cord Injury, Acquired Brain Injury, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, ALS, Spina Bifida and other complex neurological and orthopedic diagnoses. To access the services of the Adult Wheelchair and Seating Clinic, a referral form must be completed in full, including client demographic and diagnostic information and physician signature, and forwarded to the intake coordinator for review. |
