| Description | Deafblind Outreach Services are available for adults who are deafblind, their support circles, staffing groups or agencies within the counties of Brant, Haldimand-Norfolk, and the Hamilton, Niagara Region. This program is designed to meet the increasing issues and gaps of service identified in adults who are deafblind. Deafblind Outreach Services operates under the supervision of a registered psychologist with the needs of the program being delivered by certified intervenors and therapists trained in the field of deafblind issues. Services range from behavioural consultation, environmental assessments, deafblind simulations to intervention. These services can be in the form of and are not limited to; staff and family training, environmental observations and community and social integration. | |||
