DescriptionTaking Steps for Men will help participants identify and understand those behaviours and thoughts that trigger substance use and begin to examine and question their behaviours as they learn they no longer have to feel stuck, anxious, worried and powerless. 
 
During the 12 sessions individuals will examine: 
 
* What is low-risk substance use? 
* How much is too much? 
* Drug use Continuum 
* Stages of Change 
* Identifying high risk situations 
* Decisional Matrix and how to use it 
* Effective communications strategies 
* Building balance and structure
