|Description||Discovery House located within the Men's Residence, is operated by professionally trained staff who offer stability and encourage plans for the future, often when no hope exists due to addictions or mental health issues. Through a creative and innovative pre-treatment program, staff provides an environment of compassion, caring and encouragement. This program has been recognized by its provincial peers for its role in assisting people to return to the community. |
There are also a variety of community resources, such as the medical clinic, access to an OW worker, access to a Public Health Nurse/network, Chiropractic services, Pain Management services and Housing Help assistance are available to clients who access the shelter system.
The Bearinger Place Residential Program is a long term (up to 1 yr) Residential Recovery Program. The program is geared to individuals who have completed an addiction program but require further support before transitioning back into the community.
Our objective is to provide a safe, stable, structured, holistic environment for individuals seeking a lifestyle change that is substance free.
