| Description | Lean On Me is a Canadian not-for-profit organization that works toward creating peaceful communities and supporting individuals who have had their lives transformed by violence. The organization was established in 2007, by survivors, together with the support of Hamilton Police Services Victim Services Branch and Project Concern. Today, Lean On Me offers monthly groups, 12 week therapeutic support groups, one-to-one support, peer support, a 'nourishment for survivors' program, and training conference for professionals. |
