DescriptionSince 1997 Earth Day Hamilton has hosted the annual Tim Horton's Earth Day Hamilton Eco-Festival and reached over 35,000 area students providing them the opportunity to interact with environmental experts such as Dr. David Suzuki, youth role models, and take part in workshops and guided nature hikes at a free event.

The annual Earth Day Hamilton Tree Planting Festival has planted over 13,000 trees and offers planting, bbq, environmental exhibits, live entertainment, fun family activities and more, so that the community can come together, learn and have fun while helping to improve and remediate the environment.

The Earth Day Walk/Fun Run raises awareness and helps support environmental education, helping us to inspire the next generation of environmental leaders.

The Go Green Challenge at local schools and businesses offers incentives for participants to improve the environment and reduce their environmental footprint. Part of this Challenge is the "Grow Green" which facilitates the planting of mature trees at area schools helping to green their school grounds.
