DescriptionOSAP is administered by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. The objective of OSAP is to encourage and assist financially needy Ontario residents to participate in post secondary education. * Be either a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident
* Be enrolled in an approved post secondary institution and program
* Be enrolled in a minimum course load and program length
* Not be receiving financial assistance for all educational and living costs from another program, province or country

OSAP provides both repayable and non-repayable financial assistance through several component plans as follows:

* Canada Student Loans Program (CSLP)
* Ontario Student Loans Plan (OSLP)
* Ontario Student Loans Plan - Interest Relief Program
* Bursary for Students with Disabilities (BSWD)
* Child Care Bursary (CCB)
* Ontario Special Bursary Plan (OSBP)
* Ontario Work Study Plan (OWSP)
