|Description||Recovery International is a community mental health organization that offers a self-help method of will training. The Recovery method is a system of techniques for controlling temperamental behaviour and changing attitudes toward nervous symptoms such as heart palpitations, depression, sleeplessness, tremors, and fears such as fear of being alone, fear of crowds, fear of enclosed spaces, etc. |
Recovery expects each member who needs professional care to follow the authority of the physician and/or professional. Recovery does not offer advice, counselling, diagnosis or treatment; it provides self-help after care only. A not for profit, non-sectarian, self supporting and self governing program.
