DescriptionA fund initiated by the Hamilton Spectator and administered by the Hamilton Community Foundation to raise money to provide summer camping experience for disadvantaged children. Parents should contact individual camps to see if children are eligible. The Hamilton Community Foundation has a list of the camps and can provide phone numbers on request.

ApplicationOrganizations in the Hamilton and Burlington area operating/sponsoring summer camps, may apply to the Spectator Summer Camp Fund to be considered for a grant to fund camperships for children who are financially challenged and reside in Hamilton or Burlington. Please complete one application form for each camp operated/sponsored by your organization. The application can be found at www.hcf.on.ca/grants_hcf_spectator.shtml
