| Description | Living Rock Ministries is an interdenominational Resource and outreach that provides support, safety, training, social-recreational programs and positive relationships, enabling street-involved youth ages 13-25 to find direction and purpose. Services include: * The Rock Youth Resource Centre * Breakfast Program Mon-Fri from 8 am-9:30 am * The Evening Program: Oasis Coffee House "Link to the Community & Culture" provides evening meals for youth. Tue, Wed, Thu 6:30 pm-9:30 pm * * Sports at YMCA, jam sessions, group activities and theme nights (cultural, wellness spa nights, games, movies) * Youth-focused food bank & clothing exchange.Tue,Thu, Sat, Sun:1 pm-4 pm, Wed 1:30-4:00 pm * "Just for Gurlz" - sharing, crafts and a special program for pregnant & parenting teens. Mon. 7:00 pm-9:00pm * Summer Youth Project/Arts of August: Work, volunteer, creative opportunities are available through the summer * Anti-Racism Project * Special Events: special dinners, groups and other activities take place throughout the year * Rock Experience Program (REP): work experience program for youth * Rock Resources: Individual case management and "work to earn" for youth. Mon-Fri 10:30=12:00 * Follow-up program for young offenders in Hamilton-Wentworth Detention Centre * Gathering Chapel Service: Wednesday at noon * Weekend Program: 1:30 pm-8 pm on Saturday and Sunday * Wellness Works Program - support for pregnant and parenting youth 13-25yrs * Rock in Action Program - various sports and recreational activities * TRI-Rock Program for 8-weeks of life skills and 8-weeks of work experience.
