DescriptionThis program provides residential support to adults with a developmental disability in an appropriate family home. The individual shares a family home with a family, similar to foster care. The matching of individuals with families is done carefully and sensitively, to ensure compatibility and a long-term arrangement. Staff from Christian Horizons frequently meet with the family home provider and the individual to offer support and guidance. Family Home providers are screened and supported by the Christian Horizons family home program.
