| Description | The Hamilton Chinese Community Services Centre (HCCSC) is a non-profit organization incorporated by the Province of Ontario in 2000. HCCSC’s mission is to operate or facilitate a variety of programs and activities that will promote to learn Chinese language, culture, arts, festivals, traditions and heritages in greater Hamilton, and to provide helpful information to Chinese residents in Hamilton and Burlington through local Chinese media of newspaper (www.hamiltonchinesepress.com) and gate Internet website (www.hamiltonchinese.com). HCCSC's new goal is to look for an opportunity to build an online entrepreneurship ecosystem platform under support of ePowerhouse, that can help youth startups, inclusive of Chinese and non Chinese businesses The centre aims to assist people toward positive change and to support other Chinese organizations and businesses for the betterment. Services available include: * Liaison and Collaboration - HCCSC facilitates existing services and programs to reach to local Chinese community in Hamilton by means of network, internet and Chinese newspapers. * Mandarin Learning – HCCSC provides non Mandarin speaking children and adults with lessons, education packages (SoundsGood talking pen and the pen enabled books) and DIY learning materials through collaboration with Bilingual ME Publishing House Inc. The education package can benefit to self-learning. * Healthcare consulting by means of traditional Chinese herbs, medicine and treatments. . * Chinese arts, culture, heritages and festival programs or activities on the basis of funding support or sponsorship. * Business development assistance for planning, marketing, promotion, operation, webpage designing through collaboration, focusing on .youth entrepreneurship associates. | |||
