| Description | The Supehero Training Academy assists special needs children, ages 5 - 16 yrs, with exercises accommodating their needs. The program provides a one on one volunteer and/or a group environment incorporating equipment and fun gym activities to strengthen their bodies and mind. The program hopes to share the benefits of health and fitness with all, regardless of physical abilities. The gym will be laid out to maximize use of equipment focusing on the individual need of the child and adapting movement to their physical abilities. The program runs on ten week sessions during the fall, winter and spring semesters on Saturday mornings. Call for details. Programs are based on demand and provide qualified instructor assistants.
