DescriptionThe King William Learning Centre is an adult learning centre with a number of different programs. Programs available include: 
 
* Community and Continuing Education: 
 
Adult Day School (ADS),- designed for adults who have not completed their high school education but wish to obtain an Ontario Secondary Diploma. 
 
 
Literacy and Basic Skills (LBS),- instruction focuses on reading, writing, mathematics, science and social studies  
 
 
English as a Second Language (ESL)- Level 1,2,3, Introuduction to the english language. 
 
* U-Turn - Designed to jumpstart students and get them on the continuing education track quickly and effectively. This is a good preparation course for PLAR (Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition) which upon successful completion provides much needed grade 9 and 10 credits allowing the student to continue high school. 
 
Alternate Education Programs: 
 
* System Alternative Education - A secondary school program for 16-17 year olds with a low credit count (10 or less) and who have not yet met their full potential at school. 
 
* Gateway to safe schools - For expelled students or students with a long-term suspension (6-20 days)

ApplicationApply through Hamilton Wentworth District School Board Assessment Centre at 905-521-2554 for ADS, LBS and U-turn programs. ESL direct to King William Learning Centre. SAC - Home school of student fills out the application form.
