DescriptionThis Division has responsibility for workforce planning and the development of a strategy for attracting, retaining and managing the succession of staff.  
 
This portfolio includes overall responsibility for staffing (including outreach recruitment, "virtual" (i.e. internet/intranet) and "actual" employment office operations, the internal promotion process, summer student and specialized recruitment programs). This Section provides leadership on workforce equity, supporting the desired organizational culture and advancing Council's strategic direction to become a City of Choice for high performing public servants.
