DescriptionThe Operations Division is responsible for delivering programs to protect air quality, surface and ground water quality and quantity; managing the disposal of wastes; ensuring an adequate quality of drinking water and controlling the use of pesticides. In addition, the division is responsible for administering the ministry's approvals, environmental assessments, and licensing programs as well as an investigative and enforcement program to ensure compliance with environmental laws.
