The Hamilton Literacy Council serves residents of Hamilton who strive to upgrade their literacy. Individuals may improve their basic reading and writing skills according to their personal goals. The goal of the Literacy Council is to teach English-speaking adults, through one-to-one tutoring, or in a small group class. Students work with either a trained volunteer tutor or small group instructor, to develop and achieve both short and long-term goals. The program is strictly confidential. There are two student rooms on site. Both of the student rooms contain computers.
