DescriptionThe Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is an international, non-profit, volunteer organization, formed to raise funds to support medical research into diabetes to determine the cause, to arrest the complications, and above all, to find a cure for diabetes * Juvenile (Type 1) Diabetes, which is the most severe form of diabetes, and can appear at any age, most commonly from infancy to the late thirties * Insulin controls the condition; it does not cure it 
 
Services include fund raising and educational supports. Quarterly newsletters and magazines updating the latest information on promising research projects and aids to diabetics and their families are also available.
