DescriptionFlamborough Information and Community Services (FICS) acts as a community and social service-based agency which provides services to empower residents and liaises with the community to identify needs and to facilitate or develop services to meet these needs. 
 
Services include: 
- Information and Referral - Information database - Business database and directory - Community groups and services listings 
- Social Reporting and Community Development 
- Seniors' Support Service - Matching needs to services to facilitate independent living - Seniors' outreach and services referrals 
- volunteer centre 
- Youth Employment Service - Student job placement - Volunteer service 
- Other services offered at FICS - Income tax clinics - Debt/Credit counselling - Individual and family counselling - Transportation for seniors (every second week) for grocery shopping
