DescriptionCommunity Information Hamilton links people with community and government services and resources and promotes community awareness of unmet needs. Information and referral is provided by counsellors who help people to find the appropriate services which meets their needs. Confidential information is available by telephone, in person, and by conventional or electronic mail. This service is supported by the United Way of Burlington and Greater Hamilton and the City of Hamilton. Publications and data collections are produced in printed and electronic format.

CIH is a partner in Inform Hamilton, a collaborative online database of community, government and voluntary sector services in the City of Hamilton. This database is located at: www.inform.hamilton.ca

This service distributes by email notification and RSS feed, news and information about community events and activities to more than 800 recipients in the non-profit, voluntary and government sectors. This service is free to recipients who can register for notifications by visiting the website.
