Description & Services
DescriptionWelcome Baby is a free weekly program for pregnant women where they can learn about a healthy pregnancy and how to give their babies the healthiest start possible. During the two hour session, new moms will talk/share experiences with other women, discuss concerns with a Public Health Dietitian and a Public Health Nurse, prepare and enjoy a healthy snack, and learn about healthy eating, parenting and infant feeding. A woman must be pregnant to register and participation in the program can continue until her baby is 6 months old.

A participant can only be registered in the Welcome Baby program if she is not registered with another Hamilton Prenatal Nutrition Project (CPNP) program - Healthy Moms, Healthy Babies.
