Description & Services
DescriptionSpeech Language Pathology provide primarily a diagnostic service within the clinical units. Services include consultation, screening, assessment, management, counseling, discharge planning, and, when possible, treatment of individuals with 
communication (language, speech, voice/resonance, cognitive communication) and swallowing disorders.  
 
* Referrals for preschool-aged children with speech and language difficulties should be made when caregivers have questions or concerns about their child’s speech sounds/pronunciation, understanding and use of language.
