| Description | Hamilton Continuing Care (HCC) is a 64 bed home located in downtown Hamilton. The Home is accredited by the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation and is a member of the Ontario Long Term Care Association. HCC is tastefully decorated, offering private, semi-private and ward accommodation, resident lounges and attractive dining areas. Registered staff are on duty 24 hours a day to ensure our residents receive the care and support they need. Residents enjoy nutritious home-cooked meals varying from week to week. Therapeutic diets are provided as needed. A Variety of activity programs are provided, allowing opportunities for residents to pursue previous interests and develop new ones. Activities include exercise programs, movies, music, barbecues, outing and birthday parties. A wide selection of reading material is available from our visiting library, including large print and "talking" books. Non-denominational chapel services are held regularly throughout the month by ministers and other religious leaders from the community. Regular communion services are also held.
