| Description | A Christian organization who believes in the example Jesus set for us. Helping hands is now accepting donations of the following items: seasonal clothing especially pants/jeans, hoodies, bras, underware, socks, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, face clothes, feminine hygiene products, travel size shampoo and conditioner, plastic grocery bags, large zip-lock bags, hats, mittens and gloves, shoes and boots blankets, towels, linens and sleeping Furniture, appliances or non-perishable food items are not accepted. Mission operates a storefront in Hamilton's core on Barton street between Emerald and Oak streets. Clothing and personal hygiene items are completely free of charge from the storefront. Program center also provides social group programs for men, women and mixed. Group also delivers monthly item on Friday nights in inner city Hamilton at John and Rebecca streets. Other stops are made weather permitting. Donations can be left at 349 Barton Street east in Hamilton during regular store hours. Do not leave items outside of the mission on Barton as they will not reach their intended destination, please only leave donations when the store is open.
