Description	A business association for all businesses inside the boundaries of Hamilton Street and Mill Street. The B.I.A. is set up under provincial legislation and fees or "assessment" are set by the membership and collected by the City of Hamilton along with business taxes. The assessment is used by the B.I.A. to promote business in the Waterdown only area. This is accomplished by cooperative advertising, events and beautification projects.
