| Description | Sprout Summer Growing Camp (Ages 5-13 yrs) is all about helping kids grow in the flourishing green spaces of our city. Through outdoor, place-based education, we create friendships, gain environmental awareness and build community. Enjoy week-long programs where campers will: * Exploration and lessons in our learning gardens, farms, forest and city. * Eco-friendly arts and crafts. * Hiking, swimming and cooperative sports games. * Culinary adventures at the farm and farmers market. * Music making, movement and drumming workshops. * Free time and more! Little Sprouts camp (Ages 3-4 years) is a one week half day camp. Parents are welcome to participate. High School students (Ages 14-17 years) entering grade nine to grade 12 can interview to do rewarding and engaging community service hours at a week of camp (Leadership in Training). | |||
